Conditions That Affect Our Breathing While Sleeping

Are you are unable to sleep at night because of having a problem in breathing? There are many people that experience a breathing problem during the night. Breathing is very essential in the life of human beings. Respiration supports life. We cannot survive even up to 5 minutes if we are not breathing, we will lose our lives. having trouble sleeping causes people to have trouble sleeping. Thirdly, it makes one snow which is a distract or to those people that are sleeping in the room. Thus, people that have a problem breathing while sleeping should try and examine the real course of the problem. Two main reasons can make one not able to breathe properly while sleeping. One is nocturnal asthma and sleeps apnea

Asthma is a disease that mostly affected grown-ups than it affects kids. The disease works by making the lungs by blocking the airways thus one is unable to breathe properly. The condition is characterized by coughing, wheezing, pain in the chest, and anxiety from being unable to breathe. Nocturnal asthma is another type of asthma. The characteristics of the night asthma and the day asthma are not diverse from each other. The person will experience difficulties while trying to breathe. The anxiety of being unable to breath keeps them awake all night. Patients that suffer from severe asthma are likely to suffer from chronic asthma. Therefore to avoid horrible nights, the best thing to do is to seek for medication and be stable at all times.

The second reason why one might have trouble breathing is sleep apnea disorder. This is a condition whereby one breathing stops and begins again. This pattern makes oxygen levels to drop hence a person does not get enough oxygen in their system. The symptoms of sleep apnea are loud snoring and the body wearing out even after sleeping for many hours. There are many types of sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea is a condition that is caused by an obstruction of the airways by the throat muscle. During these times there is not enough oxygen supply in the body. Central sleep apnea occurs when the central nervous system does not send information to the muscle that controls breathing. Complex apnea is whereby one suffers from the two types; obstructive sleep apnea and the central sleep apnea. The most common type of sleep apnea is the obstructive sleep apnea. The occurrence of the condition usually rates the severity of a sleep apnea disorder.

Thus, people that have difficulty sleeping well at night should have a sleep disorder test to determine the cause of their problem. Sleep is necessary; for the well-being of the body. Hence, there is a need to address any distract or that disrupt our sleeping.
